School is hard

I'm now finishing up the third week of this class I'm in and even though it is a general course, its hard. I think the reason I'm having a hard time with it is the length of the course....it's only 5 weeks. That's a short amount of time to shove in a lot of information. :(

Oops

Well, guess I've been busy.
I just started my first class at UOP this week so blogging will probably be intermittent. Between school and family, particulary nephew's little league, things have gotten real busy around here.

Just shoot me

Today has been a miserable day.

I guess you could say it started last night. Mr-to-me and I were watching TV and my stomach started to itch, so I scratched it....five minutes later and its all welted up. So, off I go to take a Zyrtec. Allergies are a pain. Well, for some reason I have been groggy all day so far from taking that Zyrtec last night. Then I get to work and find that the electrician contractor left the door open to the UPS room yesterday afternoon. When I attempted to close it, it set off an intrusion alarm that rang very loudly for two hours before we could get them back out here. Hello, headache, nice to see you today.

Is it Thursday at 3:30 yet?

Sunday afternoon blahs

Well, this weekend was pretty busy.

Saturday we went down to Covina to pick up my bil R and nephew (J-man) and take them to Angels Stadium in Anaheim. Unfortunately, sister D had to go to team mom meeting so was unable to go with us. We went down there because the Angels were having a Fan Fest. We didn't get any autographs because the lines were two horrendous to even contemplate standing in. I heard later that it took 1-1½ hours to get into the tent. We did wander around the outside and J-man got his picture taken with the Rally Monkey (unfortunately, the monkey stuck the foam finger up in front of his face right when the picture was taken) and another picture with Mickey Hatcher (hitting coach) and Mike Napoli (catcher) which he really liked. I asked him he wanted to stand in line to get his picture taken with Jose Molina and Erick Aybar, but he said no, Mike Napoli was better. After leaving there, we went back to Covina for lunch and then on to J-man's little league practice. Mr-to-me is acting as the pitching coach for the team, which is really funny considering how far away we live from the team. After practice, we went to dinner than headed home....was a pretty long day, but fun.

Today, not much happening. Although, I did get a flat tire on the way home from VV. Good thing Mr-to-me was home and able to change it and take it to get it fixed.

Let's try this again

Well, decided I would try this blogging thing again. I've deleted all the old posts, because...well, they were all 2½ years old and somethings have changed since I originally started this blog. If this is your first time coming here--which I'm sure it is--Welcome!
